Wano Liao

Wano is the happiest, smiling bundle of energy you will ever find. She grew up in the mountains of Taiwan and has been in Australia for the last 14 years. 

After escaping from a violent relationship she became a single mother and took up surfing, despite not being able to swim for the first year.
Surfing has brought her hope and peace and she is now a proud mum, independent business owner, and a very talented surfer.
It is a pleasure to have such an inspiring and positive woman in our family.
Her style is easy to spot in the lineup where she regular lays into huge drop-knee turns and wild nose rides.
