Mood Swings Party

The Mood Swings Film Premiere went down just like we had hoped for. As more than 250 people packed into the venue, hoards of new and familiar faces got acquainted to let their hair down and allow the drinks to start flowing and festivities to begin.

After the recent flood events in the Northern Rivers, it became apparent it was the distraction many people needed. As the line for the bar grew, the torrent of dancing ladies, giggling men and open declarations of "I love you bro" was gaining momentum like the stock market during a boom. The energy was at an all time high! As the film played through, the surfers were applauded, hollered and whistled for, in what was a heart warming show of community and encouragement from the elevated crowd of surf enthusiasts.

The funking live sets by Pasiflroez, Bronte Eve & Blackline, Datura and Paulie Adams made sure nobody stood still too long after the film was done. There was even a tandem surfer face-in-the-hole of stand to draw some bonus giggles.

The film was a hit and despite the surfers displaying world-class levels of surfing in the film, some of them might still argue their best work was performed on the dance floor after the film ended.

A huge thank you to all those who came down and enjoyed it with us.

In case you missed it, here is the full film Mood Swings along with a brief photo collection of what was to be our most memorable film premiere party yet!

See you next year!
